Students learned about "El Día de los Muertos" during our second half of October. In case you don't know, it is a holiday that takes place mainly in Mexico during the first two days of November. It is a happy celebration to remember family members and friends that have passed away. People decorate the graveyards with marigold flowers, candles and food. They also do an "Ofrenda"/offering to those family members. Below you can see some examples of the work our students have done to celebrate that day.
